Cocktails: Vodka Gimlets & Moscow Mule
Today i would like to introduce two cocktails, which i have tested last week in Berlin, together with Marcus: Vodka Gimlet and Moscow Mule. This both mixed drinks are classics among vodka cocktails.
Last week we were in Berlin at the WP-Camp, which took place on Saturday. But we wanted to participate in a cool get together in Al Hamra on Friday, that is why we arrived in Berlin one day before. When we saw the drinks menu of Al Hamra, it was sure the evening was going to be vodka cocktail test. It was the story and now the recipes.

Vodka Gimlet Recipe
- 4 cl vodka
- 2 cl rosé lime juice
Preparation:
First mix vodka with lime juice and ice, pour it in a cocktail glass and garnish with
a lime wheel and cocktail cherry. Of course the proportion of vodka and lime juice
can vary. Better taste it by yourself.
Moscow Mule Recipe
- 6 cl vodka
- 1 sweet lime
- cold ginger ale
- cucumber shell/wheel
Preparation:
For the Moscow Mule you need a highball glass filled with ice. Add lime juice, vodka and ginger ale. Garnish with cucumber wheel or shell.
Conclusion
As you see Moscow Mule made Marcus very creative. He decided to use cucumbers from cocktail as a face mask. We did not like the cucumber taste of
this cocktail. Those who like cucumber would enjoy this drink for sure I concentrated my attention on vodka Gimlet. The taste of this cocktail was much better. It was relatively sweet and did not flavor of alcohol. The effect was not noticeable. On the way back I got a desire to eat a big portion of French fried potatoes, which I could also eat reverse. For the second time they were still tasty, so much about the topic once pay double taste. And almost zero calories. It was
incredible.
